Benchmark Visit PT United Family Food (UNIFAM) X Qando Qoaching to Paragon Corp

Learning Innovation, Leadership, and Impactful Corporate Culture

As part of the ARISE Leadership Program series, PT United Family Food (UNIFAM) together with PT Qando Qoaching conducted a Benchmark Visit to ParagonCorp on March 6, 2026. This visit was a valuable opportunity for participants to learn firsthand from one of the largest beauty companies in Indonesia, known for its strong organizational culture and rapidly growing innovation ecosystem.

The learning journey began at Venue 1: Plant Jatake 6 – Paragon Technology and Innovation. At this location, participants were invited to take a closer look at how ParagonCorp builds its innovation strength through research and development (R&D).

Founded in 1985 by Dr. (HC) Nurhayati Subakat, ParagonCorp has continued to grow into one of the leading national cosmetics companies, overseeing various popular brands such as Wardah, Make Over, Emina, Kahf, and others. More than just a beauty business, ParagonCorp has a clear goal: to create greater good for society through innovation and real contributions to the social environment.

At Plant Jatake 6, participants had the opportunity to get to know the Paragonians—the name given to the Paragon team—who are the driving force behind the company’s innovation. Participants could see how ideas, science, and technology come together in the product development process, and how the spirit of collaboration is an important part of the innovation journey.

The journey then continued to South Jakarta. Here, participants visited the Paragon Community Hub, a collaborative space designed as a center for community gatherings, learning, and the exchange of ideas between Paragon and various stakeholders. The Community Hub is often used for various activities such as leadership discussions, community empowerment programs, and cross-sector collaborations aimed at creating a broader social impact.

Through this visit, participants gained deep insights into Leadership & People Development at ParagonCorp, as well as how the company builds a strong and consistent work culture.

This culture is rooted in Paragon’s Core Values, namely:

These values shape the character of Paragonians and form the foundation for building an organization that is not only oriented towards business growth but also towards meaningful contributions to society.

This benchmarking activity was an inspiring learning experience for the ARISE Leadership Program participants. Through direct visits, discussions, and field observations, participants can see how corporate culture, leadership, and innovation can work in harmony to create an impactful and sustainable organization.

More than just a company visit, this experience becomes a moment of reflection that great organizations are not only built by strong strategies, but also by values, people, and the spirit to continue providing greater benefits to the world.
