Dengan berinvestasi dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusianya, suatu negara dapat meningkatkan ekonominya melalui produktivitas dan inovasi yang lebih besar. Hal ini disebabkan karena sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor kunci yang menentukan daya saing suatu negara di pasar global.<\/p><p>Salah satu cara pemerintah dapat berinvestasi dalam sumber daya manusia adalah dengan menyediakan pendidikan tinggi dengan sedikit atau tanpa biaya kepada warganya. Dengan demikian, mereka memungkinkan individu memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk berpartisipasi dalam angkatan kerja, sekaligus meningkatkan potensi penghasilan mereka secara keseluruhan. Ini berfungsi sebagai solusi yang sama-sama menguntungkan bagi individu dan ekonomi secara keseluruhan, karena memberi orang peluang yang lebih besar untuk pertumbuhan pribadi dan profesional, sekaligus mendorong pembangunan ekonomi dan kemakmuran.<\/p><p>Individu dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi sering melaporkan mendapatkan gaji yang lebih besar, yang selanjutnya dapat berkontribusi pada perekonomian melalui peningkatan pengeluaran dan investasi. Selain itu, mereka dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih berharga ke tempat kerja mereka melalui penerapan pengetahuan dan keterampilan lanjutan mereka. Kontribusi ini dapat berkisar dari peningkatan pengambilan keputusan dan pemecahan masalah, hingga pengembangan produk dan layanan baru yang dapat mendorong inovasi dan pertumbuhan.<\/p><p>Singkatnya, pengembangan sumber daya manusia merupakan komponen penting dari pertumbuhan ekonomi. Melalui investasi dalam pendidikan tinggi dan praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia yang efektif, negara dan bisnis dapat menumbuhkan tenaga kerja yang berpengetahuan dan terampil yang mampu mendorong inovasi, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada kemakmuran ekonomi yang lebih besar.<\/p><p>Namun, aset berharga ini tidak kebal terhadap depresiasi. Depresiasi sumber daya manusia mengacu pada penurunan keterampilan dan kemampuan individu dari waktu ke waktu, yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas dan nilai ekonomi. Sangat penting bagi organisasi untuk mempertimbangkan konsep ini saat mengelola tenaga kerja dan investasi mereka pada personel.<\/p><p>Ada beberapa skenario yang dapat menyebabkan depresiasi sumber daya manusia. Pengangguran, misalnya, dapat menyebabkan penurunan keterampilan dan kemampuan individu karena mereka tidak menggunakannya secara aktif.
